May 2016 New Planet

[ And all at once, the weather on the S.S. Panic clears up. No more rainstorms or blizzards plowing through the ship, or through the rooms of the poor refugees. ]

A-Alright, everyone! It looks like we've achieved normality once again. I, uh, I don't think what we're looking for is here, but... well, we'll do some scavenging. Or... or something, yeah?

Oh. And before you go skedaddling off onto the planet, be careful of those creepy scientists. They'll probably kidnap you and do research on your body or something. They're really good with power inhibitors, so uh... yeah. Stay away from 'em if you know what's good for you.

OOC

This month's planet appears to be an absolute wasteland. The ship is docked directly over the ruins of some old town. Several apartments appear to have once dotted the town, but all that's really left is rubble. The remains of a graveyard and church are to the north of what was probably a high school.

Among the rubble is what might have been an shopping district to the south of the residential district, with an industrial district being even further south. A large body of water surrounds the north and west of the ruined town, while to the south and east lies a vast forest of boab-type trees.

Attractions

This is not a planet you want to go on. While there appears not to be a single living being left apart from a few scientists who are rarely seen, a bunch of monsters have made this world their home. The monsters that can be found range from Keese and ReDead to Shadows and Noise. They sometimes wander the town, but are in huge herds in the forest.

Be very, very careful when treading on this wasteland of a planet. Even though the scientists are rarely seen, they are there. They'd love to kidnap characters and insert power inhibiting chips into their bodies, among other things.

You won't find much in the way of food in the ruins of the town, and the water is completely undrinkable, even if you boil it.

It really is safer to stay on the ship, but...
