[ The audio system crackles to life a few moments before the ship lurches forward. ]
A-Attention, residents and refugees of the S.S. Panic. We're taking off now and -
[ Another lurch from the ship. ]
- for the uninitiated, it might be a little scary. But worry not! The changes in temperature are only temporary. 5 Earth days, 117 Bippinsi seconds, etc., etc. Somewhere around there, anyway!
[ Captain Panic clears his throat. Oh boy. ]
It doesn't look too bad this time. Some snow here, some rain there. Oh, but the nature reserve... The farms!! Oh dear...

The Infinite Improbability Drive even has kicked off! For new players, the IID is what enables the ship to travel through place to find a new planet. For the next few days, characters will be stuck inside the ship, but since it's basically a flying fortress of a city they shouldn't get too stir crazy. The next destination is hinted at on the Calendar!
Event-wise, the weather on the S.S. Panic is an absolute nightmare. Rainstorms might start in someone's room; a blizzard might sweep through one floor only to be melted away minutes later by a 120°F heatwave. Try to keep your valuables stashed away. You don't want them to get soaked or catch fire from the heat, right?
The event will end on May 2nd, after which the new planet will be introduced.
